Supporting HE Applications

The Southern Universities Network (in association with UCAS) would like to invite you to our forthcoming CPD event, 'Supporting HE Applications'.

This event will feature advice and information on:

- Higher Education Landscape and an update on UCAS

- The Process of Applying

- Information on UCAS Extra, Adjustment, Clearing, qualification reforms, unconditional offers and the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).

- Advice on how to support and advise students with applications

- Reference writing and writing personal statements

There are two sessions; one in the morning running from 08:45 untill 12:30, and one in the afternoon running from 13:45 until 17:30. Please select the timings for the session you wish to attend from above.

Each session includes complimentary; parking, refreshments and lunch.

Who is this CPD session for?

These CPD sessions are only available for post - 16 providers who are partner / target colleges and sixth forms of the Southern Universities Network. If you are unsure as to whether your school/ college qualifies, please email sun@soton.ac.uk

How many staff members can attend?

Due to limited availability each institutions will be restricted to 3 places in the first instance. If other staff members express an interest in attending, please email sun@soton.ac.uk to be placed on the waiting list.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Free parking is available.

The Hilton at the Ageas Bowl is a 10 minute taxi journey from Hedge End Station.
